Saying that I had a blast shooting their wedding will be void of any inaccuracy. From getting ready all the way to the the reception, there was never a dull moment, and this made me designate it as my “Most Fun Wedding of the Season”. Not just were they fun to shoot, the bridal train also brought lots of fun to the mix. Now, when people say that New Yorkers can party, my response to that has always been “Can’t be more than Marylanders do’, however, I stand corrected. There was never a dull moment from the onset, all the way to the end. Another very important element that was copious in this relationship is their love for each other as well as friendship. However, as the shoot progressed and the weather being cooperative, it turned out to be great. The couple enjoyed each other’s company so much that it pretty much turned out to be a date for them, and you know when a couple is this into each other, the rest is history. May their love grow in strength and intensity by the day.
This is my favorite shot, I love the jump.

Such was the case of Mike and Bola. It was a particularly hot and humid day, dehydration was an issue and so was fatigue. However, none of the adverse weather imposition could stop us from accomplishing our goal and their positive energy kept us all going despite all odds and at the end, it turned out to be an adventurous session and it was all worth it. I wish these love birds the best ahead and may their Love continue to overcome all obstacles that life presents.

Given that Phillip lives in Ohio, the shoot was scheduled for a saturday when he’ll be in the DMV area, however the weather wasn’t too cooperative as the forecast revealed that it was going to rain all day that saturday and it indeed rained cat and dog. However even the rain could not stop us from accomplishing our mission since Phillip had to return to Ohio on Sunday. With all that being said, these two lovebirds really had fun on set. Enjoy….

She even wanted to bring 6 outfits on location, however after the 3rd outfit of the day, she was exhausted and ready to retire. Naboth, I must mention served in the U.S. Armed forces for almost a decade, and for that I say kudos. Looking forward to the big day guys.

I present to you the engagement ceremony of Uduak and Enefiok, a unique event that I had the pleasure of shooting in December. When people say less is more, there are elements of truth in that statement depending on your perspective of analysis. This was my first Eastern Nigerian traditional engagement ceremony, and its simplicity and sophistication are worthy of mention. It was void of all sorts of extortionary measures that you see in the Western trad. events from the so called “alagas”.
